Another page from the environmental picture book I'm working on, here's the verse.
'One day a wind, worse than ever, began to blow in. It whipped itself into a fierce rage, tearing hats from heads and pots and pans from their hooks. It took baskets and books, and blankets from beds, and one or two cats. And that was not all. '

Soon, Silence
My response to the following: "Soon, silence will have passed into legend. Man has turned his back on silece. Day after day he invents machines and devices that increase noise and distract humanity from the essence of life. contemplation, meditation... tooting, howling, screeching, booming, crashing, whistling, grinding and trilling bolster his ego. His anxiety subsides. His inhuman void spreads monstrously, like a grey vegetation" Jean Arp.
