Odd and End and Bit and Bob

End and Odd and Bit and Bob
Are handy for almost any job.

Bob and Odd and End and Bit
Are put to use as you see fit.

No one here is very sure
What Odd, End, Bit and Bob are for.
That’s why we use a box to store
Them tucked behind the cupboard door.

Mouthfuls of Memories

These are some monoprints that I did for a recipe book and memoir that my Granny has written. Hopefully it will be published locally and the profit will go to the church or some other good cause. I really enjoyed it, although it was a lot of work as she was a very demanding client and we have some artistic differences! All in all though, it was a really good experience as I learnt an awful lot about her childhood and found it totally fascinating hearing about all the mischief she got up to as a child. She's a very good writer as well!

Mouthfuls of Memories written by Julia McWilliam, illustrated by Hannah Bailey.

Pinkskin Mousekin

"Hungry Pipskin Mousekin
Got tangled in a napkin.

Far worse was how it hurt
When it got tucked into a shirt.

More awful was the sneeze
that dropped a little crumb of cheese
amongst some snot and garden peas
onto hungry Pipskin Mousekin
who would have thought himself quite lucky
if he hadn’t got so mucky."

These are pages from the pop-up book 'Abundance'; a summer project.

Isabella and Gabriella

Isabella and Gabriella
stood beneath their pink umbrella.
Said Isabella to Gabriella
little girls should never EVER
go out in such dreadful weather!

Posty cards

Ellie Iezzi and I made a tipi village as part of a collaboration project to market a storytelling festival. This is one of the posters!
Has it worked?
Is this a post?
