SO I've started using Twitter!
(In honesty I've had it for a few years but only used it to keep my eye on exciting news events and to see how other people are getting on)
Now I think it's time to stop tweeting around the bush and start using it properly!

Mill Wood Garden of Allusion
May I present Hannah Bailey and Aidan Meighan's first illustrative collaboration!
We have been working on a limited edition print for the Halswell Park Trust that we hope to sell in order to raise money for the restoration of Mill Wood, an 18th Century pleasure gardens in Somerset.
Mill Wood has been derelict and almost forgotten for a century at least, and a few of the follies (including a statue of Neptune) have become overgrown, or ruined, but the surviving Grotto, cascades, Bath Stone Bridge and the Temple of Harmony were just enough for us to get an idea of the place and to create this map of what it may have looked like when it was first designed by Sir Charles Keymes Tynte around 1767.
There are big plans to bring the gardens back to life, and hopefully the print will help to spread the word and raise a bit of money, to help it get underway!

The 75 limited edition prints are being sold at £75 a pop. Buy yours now! Single figure prints are already all gone, and the rest disappearing fast. If you are interested in becoming a part of this really exciting project at the roots, let me know and I can reserve a print for you. Cheques payable to Halswell Park Trust.
We hope it does Mill Wood justice!
Happy Christmas.

Greek Surrealist poetry Illustration
The Almond Tree of a Virtuoso Orchestra's Hiding Place
I did this illustration to be part of an exhibition in St Louis, USA, that has been put together by Poetry Scores; an organisaton that translates verse into music, film and art.
It illustrates a section of Phantom of the Dreams' Origin by Andreas Embirikos, a Greek surrealist poet. The title is as above.
